Erik A. Murray is a graduate of the University of Michigan – Dearborn (B.A. 2011, High Distinction); and Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (J.D. 2014). The focus of Erik’s practice includes general estate planning, general civil litigation, criminal defense, criminal record expungement, business law, and family law. Erik was born in Dearborn, Michigan; admitted to Indiana bar in 2014; and also admitted to practice before U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern District of Indiana.
Prior to joining Myers Hockemeyer & McNagny, LLP, Erik was an attorney for the Indiana Department of Child Services from 2015 through 2017. During his time with the Indiana Department of Child Services, Erik worked in several counties including Whitley, Noble, Steuben, LaGrange, Allen, Dekalb, and Huntington County handling Child in Need of Services and Termination of Parental Rights cases.
Erik is also a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Benjamin Harrison American Inn of Court, Christian Legal Society, and the Bar Associations of Kosciusko, Allen, Noble, and Whitley County.
